Danny serves in organizing, operations, and fundraising capacities for Open Primaries.

He’s held positions and contributed to growth and development at organizations including Friends of Governors Island, Independent Voting, Civics Unplugged, The LGBTQ History Project, and St. George Civic Association.  He was a co-founder and Director of Development of the Drama Desk nominated off-Broadway company, The Clockwork Theatre.  Danny has worked with firms including BlueprintNYC, ESP Nash, RIVE, and Jhada of New York to mount events for clients such as NBCUniversal, Tribeca Film Festival, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Delta Airlines.

Danny pursued radical leadership training through a fellowship with Dr. Lenora Fulani and the All Stars Project of New York in 2018, and has worked with Dr. Don Kilhefner to produce Gay Tribal Elder, a weekly newsletter, since 2020.

Danny has taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in Public Affairs, Arts and Public Life, and Public and Nonprofit Management at Baruch College, where he also served as Associate Director of Graduate Admissions.

He earned a BA in Theatre from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and a Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York at Baruch College.
